Light

Generally speaking, the number of lights and the individual lamp power is dependant upon the size of the venue. As a result, all of the following details are meant as a guide.

List of needed material :
- 12 PAR Led with Zoom (for instance : Rush by Martin - PAR 2 RGBW Zoom)
- 15 profiles  614 SX or 714SX (depending on the venue) with gel L501+R 119 or L501+ R 132 depending on the theater
- 1 lighting board with memory function
- House-Light to be controlled from the lighting board
We recommend the use of LED spotlights, for ecological reasons.

Focus :
-Frontlights : the aim is to create a uniform wash. The focus should follow the edge of the curtains on each side ; upstage, the light should cover the backdrop to the high of a man, so that the dancers are illuminated 1 m from the backdrop. Downstage, be careful : the dancers come very far forward.

- Backlights : create a uniform backlight across the entire set, upstage to downstage, avoiding the side curtains. Don’t hesitate to go over the knees of the first row of spectators.

Sound

Sound Equipment to be provided by the theater :
- 3 (2 + 1 spare) x headset omnidirectional microphone for vocals, (DPA 4066), beige color
-
3 HF pocket transmitters (shure or sennheisser type).
-
3 x belt back transmitter for the DPA headset mic and wireless receiver HF with pockets for transmitters and 1 sheath for securely fastening the performer's transmitter.

Sound system :
- 1 sound system for the whole audience room, adapted to the venue
- 2 speakers (MPB 600 15" monitors), placed directly on the floor, backstage at the front.
- 1 small mixer desk to which a laptop is connected + 1 computer with Qlab or Live software installed in the control room.

Technical team and schedule

The organisation of the set up and the required personnel are left to the discretion of the technical management of the site. However, the stage, sound and lighting set-up must be completely finished by 2:00 p.m. on the day of the show, the time at which the on-stage rehearsal begins.

The venue must provide a sound and lighting manager to handle the rehearsals and the show.

Costumes and dressing room

3 dressing rooms for the performers with shower, 6 towels, glass bottles of water and ice packs
Washing and ironing of the costumes at the end of the rehearsal and of each performance. A dresser is required before and during the rehearsal and each performance to help the dancers put on their costume.

Please send plans and the technical rider of the venue to the technical director of the performance, Maxime Kurvers at maxime.kurvers@hotmail.fr
