Cédric Andrieux started dancing in Brest (France). He studied at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse of Paris (1993-1997). In 1997, he joined the Jennifer Muller company in New York for a year. From 1999 to 2007, he was a member of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. He also worked with RoseAnne Spradlin, Chantal Yzermans, and was part of the New York cast of Alain Buffard's Mauvais Genre. From 2007 to 2010 he danced at the Lyon Opera Ballet. Jérôme Bel created the solo Cédric Andrieux in 2009. Cédric Andrieux also danced for the choreographers Mathilde Monnier and Daniel Linehan, and collaborated with the film director Christophe Honoré. He also assisted Jérôme Bel and Mathilde Monnier on several pieces at the Lyon Opera Ballet and the Ballet de Lorraine. In 2015, Cédric Andrieux obtained a Master's degree in Cultural and Artistic Project Management at the University of Lyon 2. He then worked at Nanterre Amandiers and at the Centre National de la Danse, before becoming a founding member of BureauProduire. He was appointed Director of Choreographic Studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) in 2018.
