| light : | standard light plot : click here to download list of needed material : 25 PC 2kW (2 pipes of backlight and 3 pipes of frontlight) 11 flood light 1kW (light for the audience coming from the stage) 45 dimmers 3 kW light computer (48 channels) we are looking for a simple wash, over the whole stage, evenly, no colors, no gel, unless it is to smooth out the borders. By whole stage we mean : from upstage (including face) to downstage (face as well). If we have to hit the back curtain in order to have an even wash all over, then it is a compromise to do, even though ideally it is better not to do so. The audience light has to be different from the house light. The audience has to feel like the lights are coming from the stage, without being blinding, to give a reverse situation, they are being watched now. The best is to hang the flood lights from the frame. The whole audience has to be included. light cues : the light cues will have to be done by a lighting director, following directions from Cedric Andrieux. Audience entrance, black out, all light full (back/front light) in 3 seconds, same with audience at full, in 12 seconds, same without audience at full, in 4 seconds, back to audience work light for the end. Where available, we recommend the use of LED spotlights, for environmental reasons. |

| schedule : | if the show is at 8 pm 2 pm - 5 pm : light and sound rehearsal. All the lights should be hung and focused, and the sound ready before 2 pm 7 pm the stage must be available for Cedric Andrieux to warm up 7.40 pm last sound check before the show for any additional show, stage must be available 2 hours before the show, with again one last sound check at 7.40 pm. for the rehearsal as well as for any additional performance, we would like to work with the same sound/light/stage directors. |
