stage :

Measurements: minimum 10m wide (33ft), 10m deep (33ft)

Borders to cover the light bars
Backstage on the left for the quick changes of costumes, with a chair,  at stage left. The backstage should be well lit enough for a 70 year old to change costumes and get to the stage safely. This backstage area needs to be vacuumed as the dancer is barefoot.

The audience should be able to reach the stage, by a stair on each side of the stage, if necessary. Please let us know what is the maximum number of people who can join our team on stage according to the security limitations

The organiser has to provide :
- a chair which doesn't make any noise  when moved, with no armrest
- a table  about 60 x 120 cm, big enough for a laptop, a small sound mixing-board and a bootle of water. The table should be covered with black fabric,  legs included
both of them on stage

light :

Generally speaking, the number of lights and the individual lamp power is dependant upon the size of the venue. As a result, all of the following details are meant as a guide.

List of needed material :
- 20 PC 2kW (2 pipes of backlight and 3 pipes of frontlight) - gel #114 or 119, if needed
- 1 light board in the booth
- 1 blue light for the quick changes of costumes, with a chair,  at stage left

Where available, the use of LED lights is recommended.

Focus :
- we are looking for a simple wash, over the whole stage, evenly, no colors
- gel only when it’s needed to smooth out the borders
- upstage, the light should cover the back curtain to the high of a man
- downstage, the focus should include the face and the front light should follow the edge of the dance floor

Light cues :
0. House light on. Audience entrance
1. House light fading out (5 sec) until blackout
2. Stage light (full wash) fading in (3 sec)
3. Assistant on stage asks the light technician to turn the house light on
4. Assistant on stage asks the light technician to turn the house light off
5. Bow : House light fading in (5 sec) on the 3rd bow
6. Once the dancer exited, fade out the stage light

sound :

Sound Equipment to be provided by the theater :
- 1 x headset microphone for vocals, (DPA 4088F with adapters Shure/AKG/Sennheiser or equivalent)
- 1 x belt back transmitter for the DPA headset mic and wireless receiver HF
- Small mixer, with Input from Laptop to Mixer. The connection is mini-jack
- 2 feedback speakers on right and left stage
- An adapted to the venue in-house loudspeaker system

The music is playback off the laptop, which is on stage
The microphones should not play through the feedback speakers

technical team and schedule :

The organisation of the set up and the required personnel are left to the discretion of the technical management of the site. However, the stage, sound and lighting set-up must be completely finished by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the show (or no later than 5 hours before the beginning of the performance), the time at which the on-stage rehearsal begins.

The company travels without technician. A sound and light technician is needed during the rehearsals and performances.

costumes and dressing room :

2 dressing rooms for one dancer and one assistant, with shower, towel, a glass bottle of water and ice packs
Washing and ironing of the costumes at the end of the rehearsal and of each performance. A dresser is required before rehearsal and each show to help the dancer put on her first costume.
